This listing is for a brand new zombie / undead chess set, hand crafted and just in time for Halloween. Each piece is carefully crafted from super hard casting materials giving a durable high quality result yet still retaining a certain ceramic and antique finish.

I have been making chess sets now for many years and believe I have now perfected my craft. I have supplied sets to schools, universities, collectors and even film studios. Unless you specify otherwise the colors for this set for are blood clot red for the dark and dead flesh white for the light. If you would prefer jet black instead of the red, or the white, then just let me know and I'll be more than happy to oblige.... Also available is deep walnut, in fact, you can mix and match any of these colors if you like. If you'd like any colors that aren't listed here then let me know before you purchase and I'm sure I'd be able to accommodate you.

The king is just over 4.5 inches in height making it a good sized set and would suit a standard tournament board with squares about two inches or more.

The set is also quite heavy weighing in at over 2KG.

Vinyl Chess Mat:

This set also comes with an optional vinyl chess mat/board so you can start playing as soon as you receive it. This is a black and white mat with 2 inch squares and is tough, durable and wipe clean.

Packaging:

Each piece is individually wrapped in bubble wrap and then the whole set. This is then packed in a sturdy cardboard box into which is packed polystyrene peanuts for extra padding. Sets are usually within a couple working days, unless you specify an unusual color in which case you might, but not always, have to wait an extra day.

NOTE:

And don't forget, you can create your own bespoke set put together using any of the pieces from any of the sets in my shop in any colors you like. A real mix and match. So, for example, if you would like an Isle of Lewis set but prefer the King from a different set and/or the pawns from another set then that's no problem. As long as I currently make the pieces you can create whatever set you like. Simply request a custom order with your requirements and I'll do my best to accommodate. ☺
