This is for a brand new dragons and wizards collectable chess set, hand crafted and would make an ideal and unusual gift .

Each piece is carefully crafted from robust casting materials which is then hand painted, stained and then lacquered to give a durable high quality result yet still retaining a certain ceramic and antique finish.

This is the largest set we currently make and possibly the most impressive. It certainly gets a lot of attention from visitors a lot of whom think it's a valuable antique ;-)

About The Maker:

I have been making chess sets now for many years and believe I have now perfected my craft. I have supplied sets to schools, universities, collectors and even film studios. I even supply sets to one of the largest chess set retailer in the country so I must be doing something right. This is basically what I do all day, make chess sets, so you can be sure that when you buy a set from me you are getting a top notch product, crafted to the highest standards and with great care and attention.

Colors available:

Unless you specify otherwise the colors for this set for are vintage leather red for the dark and antique stone for the white. If you would prefer jet black instead of the red, or the white, then just let me know and I'll be more than happy to oblige.... Also available is deep walnut, in fact, you can mix and match any of these colors if you like. If you'd like any colors that aren't listed here then let me know and I'm sure I'd be able to accommodate you.

The king an impressive 6 inches in height making it a very good sized and stunning set and would suit a standard tournament board (not included I'm afraid) with squares about two inches or more.

Packaging:

Each piece is individually wrapped in bubble wrap and then the whole set. This is then packed in a sturdy cardboard box into which is packed polystyrene peanuts for extra padding. In fact, I put as much effort into the packaging as I do with creating the set itself.

NOTE:

And don't forget, you can create your own bespoke set put together using any of the pieces from any of the sets in my shop in any colors you like. A real mix and match. So, for example, if you would like an Isle of Lewis set but prefer the King from a different set and/or the pawns from another set then that's no problem. As long as I currently make the pieces you can create whatever set you like. Simply request a custom order with your requirements and I'll do my best to accommodate. ☺
