Dragons & Wizards Chess Set

About The Set:

This is for a brand new dragons and wizards collectable chess set, hand crafted and would make an ideal and unusual gift.

Each piece is carefully crafted from robust casting materials which is then hand painted, stained and then brushed with Gold (not real gold I'm afraid) to bring out even more detail giving a very Regal effect. Finally it's lacquered to give a durable high quality result yet still retaining a certain ceramic and antique finish.

This is one of the largest sets I currently make and possibly one of the most impressive. It certainly gets a lot of attention from visitors a lot of whom think it's a valuable antique ;-)

- The King as the Wizard pouring over his book of spells.
- The Queen regal in her headdress and adornments.
- The Bishop complete with staff.
- The Knight as the mighty winged horse.
- The Rook as the enchanting Castle.
- The Pawns as impressive and dignified Dragons.

Colors available:

Unless you specify otherwise the colors for this set for are antique red and midnight blue. If you would prefer any other colors, then just let me know and I'll be more than happy to oblige and create a bespoke set just for you.

The king an impressive 6 inches in height making it a very good sized and stunning set and would suit a standard tournament board, not included, with squares about two inches or more.

Packaging:

Each piece is individually wrapped in bubble wrap and then the whole set. This is then packed in a sturdy cardboard box into which is packed polystyrene peanuts for extra padding.

Sets are usually dispatched within a couple of working days, unless you specify an unusual color in which case you might, but not always, have to wait an extra day. Also, it is worth noting that customers quite often receive their sets before the estimated delivery date.


NOTE:

And don't forget, you can create your own bespoke set put together using any of the pieces from any of the sets in my shop in any colors you like. A real mix and match. So, for example, if you would like an Isle of Lewis set but prefer the King from a different set and/or the pawns from another set then that's no problem. As long as I currently make the pieces you can create whatever set you like. Simply request a custom order with your requirements and I'll do my best to accommodate. ☺
