This listing is for a brand new Kama Sutra chess set based on the ancient Indian Hindu text widely considered to be the standard work on human sexual behaviour in Sanskrit literature written by Vātsyāyana.
Beautifully detailed and depicting many of the famous illustrations from the original text.
Painstakingly crafted to give the effect of Antique Bronze and Aged Pewter with particular attention paid to provide a rich patina and satin finish, this set for is the perfect gift for the more discerning chess set collector and is most certainly a talking point!
Queen Me:
This set for comes with two extra queens for those of you who are lucky enough to get a pawn all the way down to the other end of the board and don't want to scrabble around looking for something to use as an extra queen.
Construction:
Each set is hand cast in a hard and durable natural mineral giving a lovely carved stone like feel, painted, stained and lacquered to give a durable high quality result yet still retaining a certain ceramic and antique finish.
The king is 5 inches in height and the set, unpacked, weighs approx 2 KG and would suit a board with squares 1.8 inches or more.
Vinyl Chess Mat:
This set also comes with an optional vinyl chess mat/board so you can start playing as soon as you receive it. This is a black and white mat with 2 inch squares and is tough, durable and wipe clean.
NOTE:
And don't forget, you can create your own bespoke set put together using any of the pieces from any of the sets in my shop in any colours you like. A real mix and match. So, for example, if you would like an Isle of Lewis set but prefer the King from a different set and/or the pawns from another set then that's no problem. As long as I currently make the pieces you can create whatever set you like. Simply request a custom order with your requirements and I'll do my best to accommodate. ☺
